BBC Radio Stoke Features DIMEC App

The DIMEC App has been causing quite a stir recently and this is set to continue after a recent interview and feature by BBC Radio Stoke.

Our previous blog post was on our whole team’s excitement after the DIMEC App was featured in the Stoke Sentinel newspaper. This article alone got over 130 licks on Facebook and loads of shares!

After a few more weeks of dispensing prescriptions, we were contacted by the BBC who wanted to do a feature on our new App. You can see the feature by clicking here and scrolling down the page.

They also interviewed us and broadcast it on the drive time radio show!

Needless to say, with this continued level of media coverage and fantastic patient feedback so far, we can’t thank our patients enough for placing their responsibility of managing their medicines with us.

For those who don’t already know, we are a Pharmacy called DIMEC. We are fully regulated and registered by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the NHS.

We’re a bit different however to your normal high street Pharmacy. Rather than ringing your GP or Pharmacy to order your prescription, then collecting from the Pharmacy a couple of days later, we let you order your repeat prescription through your phone. Simply download the free DIMEC App, enter the one-time set up details including your repeat medicines and you’re all set.

When you next need to order your prescription, a few simple taps of the DIMEC App and it’s all sorted. Push notifications keep you informed of where your prescription is in the process, whether it is being signed by your GP or at our Pharmacy being dispensed, for example. Then, your medicines are delivered to an address of your choice, completely free.

Check out our new advert for the App by clicking here, which shows the whole process and how easy it is to use!
